Security Signs

If your business uses CCTV, you must inform people that they could be recorded.  This is usually done by displaying signs, which must be clearly visible and readable.  In order to comply with the data Protection Act 1998, signs must state the purpose of scheme, and give details of the Data Protection Act Controller (either the person's name or position, or preferably the company's name) together with a contact telephone number or address, if it is not obvious.
